Foreword

For Counterintelligence: Crime and Violence Prevention reasons,  having a positive outlook on the educational process in everything we do is important to ensure healthy physical, mental and spiritual balance. The educational process includes institutional training as well as self-training.  If a person, student and spiritual seekers keeps the following principles in mind then the person will be able to combat unwanted thoughts, ungodly influences and ideas that try to limit your full potential. Hopefully, through the process a person can get proper guidance, support and aid.  Sometimes, we must combat outside scrupulous practices that originate from the academic, political, religious, law enforcement, intelligence, mental health arena and business world.  Somehow, it can get twisted and corrupted along the way.

The educational beliefs and the mission statement are based upon the West Chester Area School District's Elements of Strategic Planning and Beliefs in Pennsylvania. The mission statement and education beliefs was well thought out and refreshing. Instead of reinventing the wheel, I am presented sections in its original forms with a few additions. For Alan Scott's Research, the organization accepts and incorporates the beliefs and mission in its' organization. It is good reminder for all citizens, professionals and spiritual seekers.

The mission of the West Chester Area School District, a diverse community rich in heritage, is to educate all students to achieve their personal best, be responsible, contributing citizens and become life-long learners by inspiring each student through challenging curriculum, varied opportunities, effective teaching, respect for diversity, nurturing and caring staff, and involved parents and community.

Educational Beliefs

We believe that:

Each person has intrinsic worth.
All people can learn and succeed, but in different ways and at different rates.
Education is the shared responsibility of parents, educators and community; learning is the responsibility of the individual.
Individuals are responsible for their own actions.
Learning is a life-long growth and change process.
A positive sense of self promotes a willingness to challenge oneself and to exert effort toward success.
Achieving one’s personal best is directly related to one’s effort.
High quality education is an essential component in preserving the principles of American democracy.
Results are directly related to expectations.
Ethical behavior is essential for society to flourish.
Diversity of culture and beliefs enriches and strengthens our community.
Family environment has a crucial impact on the growth and development of every child.
The well being of a community depends upon the actions and contributions of every member.
When the community provides an environment that encourages individual growth, the individuals as well as the community benefit.
Honest and caring communication is essential to mutually beneficial relationships.
Embracing diversity makes us stronger and enriches life.
The pursuit of knowledge, understanding, and truth is a fundamental human need.
No institution has a more profound life-long effect on the individual than family.

School Board Meetings:

There is a wealth of information available at the area school board meetings.  One can obtain experience and knowledge that a person may not ordinary see in his home or work environment.  It can teach leadership skills by seeing how people communicate, present ideas and interact with one another. The issues that are addressed are the following:  mission statement and educational beliefs,  strategic planning, policy development, financial management, facilities and construction, curriculum programs, pupil services, public relations, educational things, how people approach school board members, personnel issues,  report presentations, security issues and other related issues.  In addition a person will be impressed to see how they offer services, support and counsel others, and cater to the needs of every child, parent, community and adult.  It will give you a well rounded education in business and related matters. Valuable training can be obtained from listening and observing the discussions about the above subject matters.

Conclusion

If we apply these principles and get clobbered along the way than there is something evil in society that must be addressed. Counterintelligence: Crime and Violence Prevention will help our community to prevent ungodly assistance and remove dangerous stumbling block that may injure a person’s well being. Eventually we must examine hostile dangerous undercurrents within academia, businesses, law enforcement and government agencies, religious entities, mental health arena and community to find the shortcomings of the educational system. Scrupulous practices in the community may be the culprit that creates false impressions concerning the educational system processes. Please keep in mind that there is always room for improvement in the educational process.  It is always growing and changing to address new issues that emerge. Sometimes, it may take outside influences to improve and protect the existing system. For the most part, it is pretty good.
