Practice selflessness, forgiveness, self-defense, love and a willingness to suffer a loss if it appears to be resolvable, questionable or unnatural according to God's laws. Make sure that no one makes you a target or takes advantage of your stupidity, vulnerabilities, generosity and nobility. There may be other political issues that must be addressed before taking a course of action. It is up to the discretion of the reader or client to determine the best course of action. What works in one area may have detrimental effects in another area especially if another country is involved. Collect and gather proper intelligence or information before implementing any ideas. Know your audience. Watch our for hidden politics that no one mentions.

Basic Concepts to Consider

Gather support from the law enforcement and intelligence community first. They have powerful resources at their disposal. In addition, they may be able to provide protection from seen and unseen dangerous influences that exists in politics.
Remember that secrets do not exist in politics. Our society will gather and collect facts, evidence, rumors and other unknowns about a person’s private life that might be revealed unjustly. Public officials have no private life. Everything is closely scrutinized and revealed. Avoid telling anyone material that you want to remain hidden. Sometimes to succeed, one must take chances to minimize the damage, gather support, tell a story, collect intelligence or create a likable honorable character.
When dealing with the media or any individual, never assumed any communication is "off the record".  Be prepared to handle anything that may appear in the public domain. Make sure you can managed the situation properly.
It is important to have an appropriate response prepared to combat adversarial attacks. Never ignore the attack. Public opinion will assume the worse without a truthful reply. Pick the proper time and place for your reply. Collect your thoughts and facts before you reply.
Collect and gather information about the views of the voter’s, cultural backgrounds and related issues. Polls are tools that play an important part of politics. Knowing the facts and issues are needed for success.
Analyze your present situation to determine the best course of action. Know thyself. Know when to retire or yield. Know when to stay in the game.
Avoid thinking that violating the law will get you there. Follow all laws that are required for a successful campaign. There are no cutting corners. It is a shame that our system is full of complex, unintelligible and idiotic legalities. Failing to follow the law can lead to embarrassment, appointment problems, investigations, prison time, liabilities, financial destructions, mental health issues and legal consequences. For doing something honorable like rescuing someone, preventing crime and violence, security threats and/or other issues, seek legal counsel if time permits. Please do not allow fear, confusion, threats, intimidation, embarrassment and other shadowy things prevent you from doing what is justified. Follow the law if you can, but do what you must.
Fundraising is a must for a successful campaign. Money is important. Manage the money responsibly. Finances or money enables people to improve everyday life, provides avenues for helping and influencing others in a supportive way and to gain wealth. It gives people the freedom to grow physically, emotionally, financially and spiritually.
Diplomacy, effective communication, being direct and subtleties are tools that should be used to prevent unnecessary events or embarrassment.
Always tell the truth. People dislike dishonesty. Others may used  secret techniques to hide the truth. Stay in the light. Let God work through you.
Understand the cultural and political climate of the supporter, organization, communities, government bodies and other entities.
Knowing the issue is important. Get all the facts. Understand the advantages and disadvantage of all issues.
Understand the intricate details of the political system.
Hire a legal team, campaign managers, financial experts and business managers. If possible, ask them if they will volunteer their services and time.
Gather support from the spiritual community and other related honorable groups.
Present a professional image of honor and integrity. If possible, Godly.
For a successful campaigning, everyone must follow the present political agenda. People must agree on a unique agenda, but they can disagree and improve the agenda along the way. Eventually, everyone must be on board or united in agreement. Walk away from a campaign when the agenda deviates from your God given truths.
Create an agenda, set goals, delegate, monitor progress and coach when required.

Suggestions for Political Interaction:

People must know who you are and what you represent. Gather support by getting to know the people in your community at all social levels. Listen to the voice of the people. Return e-mails and telephone calls if possible. Show that you care. One day the act of kindness may result in special support. Provide information to people who need assistance.
Ask questions to make people feel connected. Sometimes, people get offensive when you ask questions so size up the individual before asking. Watch out for insecurities, fears, unintentional embarrassment and retaliation. Each person is different so be careful.
We must remember and reward those people who help you along the way regardless of personal preferences; But know when to remove people when the liabilities outweigh the advantages. Sometimes, a person must burn bridges to get the job done properly.
Be open minded to issues and positions. Take a stand, but leave room for change. If you disagree with something, avoid yielding to other viewpoints unless a strong case is presented.
Remain cheerful, positive and uplifting throughout the elections, corporate politics or other forms of politics.
Quality, not quantity is needed to succeed. Work smart and hard. Find time to play.
