Foreword

In today's society we live in a sophisticated country that provides many resources to help people to achieve the best possible life style with honor and integrity, but at the same time professional people will create programs, gimmicks, business deals, confusion and shady practices that harms individual's rights and well-being while confusing them. Counterintelligence will aid in preserving our physical, mental, spiritual and financial well being.

Professional Crime and Violence Prevention

Professional crime and violence includes scrupulous practices in mental health, consulting, managing, accounting, finances, politics, law, law enforcement, security investigations, counterintelligence, executive protection, labor unions and any other business. This problem is called white collar crime and it very difficult to stop. Professional have a habit of taking advantage of our naiveté, ignorance, and weaknesses while betraying our trust without remorse. To prevent crime and violence, lets look at guidelines, tricks and countermeasures.

To protect ourselves from harm we should educate ourselves in basic principles, know what questions to ask, learn the tricks of the trade, and if possible understand professional methodology. With proper research and guidance, your assets will be protected. Investigate the following subjects for practical advice, proper guidelines and essential principles.

Criminal & Civil Law and Crime & Violence Prevention
Consulting, Business, Managing, Finances and Accounting.
Politics or Voluntary assistance.
Medical and Mental Health practices.
Law Enforcement, Counterintelligence and Executive Protection
Leadership, Public Relations, Communication Skills

Warning: Please keep in mind that I am not going to tell you what is right for you, but I am going to reveal possible ideas that may help improve your physical, mental, spiritual and financial well being. It should tell you right from wrong. When applying these principles, keep in mind that it can become confusing and abusive. One could lose one's job, experience financial and marital problems, forced to transfer, become a victim of legal or illegal corruption, spiritual abuse or other unhealthy entanglements. We have rights but professionals have learn to massage the system by forcing people to accept less. Anything you do will be a risk. The ultimate choice will be yours. You will be held accountable for your action.

 

Look for these Warning Signs: Avoid being a casualty of professional crime and violence.

 

Deficient or no policy against all forms of workplace violence.

Ambiguous rules of conduct. Deceptions. Confusions.

Silence that promotes entrapments, negligence or misguidance.

Unseen working relations with others that promote hostilities, unhealthy targeting, shady practices, negligence and misguidance.

Inferior workplace violence prevention, crisis management and warning signs training.

Violations of the Occupational Safety and Health Act.

Serious unresolved workplace issues or past dangerous incident (s).

Improper downsizing (layoffs) and unrealistic workloads for remaining employees

Professional or Labor-management antagonism that utilizes abusive management style.

Threats of any kind or suspicious activity.

Quick analysis and diagnosis of any situation or individual.

Improper and  inadequate information, advice or managing.

Unrealistic nitpicking, reprimands, criticisms and job performances.

Culture climate that promotes sexual harassment, discrimination, poor professional ethics, mental health indiscretions, disrespect, intolerance, drugs, scapegoating and victimization.

Any form of suspicious criminal activity or legal entrapments.

Improper financial record keeping, questionable internal controls or deceptive statements.  Tax invasion is also a sign of criminal activity.

Obstructing Justice. Conspiracy or making false statement to the government. 

Making inappropriate political contributions.  Bribery is also illegal.

Improper use of disciplinary action and monitoring of employee or ex-employee.

Improper warnings of danger zones to new or old employees.

Inadequate physical security or working relationship with local law enforcement.

Negligent human resources, hiring, training and retaining practices.

Questionable open door policy which is misused.

Failure to be firm, fair, consistent, predictable and timely!

Ineffective or nonexistent reporting procedures for workplace violence or threats.

Inadequate employee counseling, assistance or support systems.

Unwillingness to explain anything, double talk , poor communications, improper training, verbal abuse, unrealistic criticism and excuses.

Improper manipulations of medical insurance, social security, self-employment practices, employment rights and employee benefits.

Improper job reference request to prospective employer.

Improper use of workers for unclear job description and inaccurate pay.

Improper use of drugs and advice for continued employment or other reasons.

"Get rich quick" schemes.  High pressure tactics. 

Good deals that seem too good to be to true.

Shady promises of a risk free Investment. Rewards that are questionable.

Violations of employment practices and safety and government regulations.

Not dealing with personal issues, firing for infractions or minor problems.

Improper use of continuing education and seminars that have no additional benefit to your job performance. A weapon to keep you from being promoted regardless of your experience.

Confusion of what to report or not to report in regards to minor problems to serious crime. What is acceptable to the entity?

Illegal undercover surveillance or spying on selected targets.

Good people disappearing and ending up on the doorstep of law enforcement for no apparent reason. Law Enforcement arresting the wrong people due to effects of a hostile climate.

Infiltration into local, state and federal government and community agencies whose purpose is to support the goals of the company and not the local community.  

Supports law enforcement as long as the cooperation is in the entity's best interests.

 

Personal Warning Signs

Inability to communicate and ask questions. 

Thoughts that are not your own.  

Realistic or unrealistic fear 

Physical, mental and spiritual problems.

Impulsive behavior and actions that are not normal for you.

Unusual, possibly dangerous physical, mental and spiritual activity occurring at home or surrounding you that is work related.

Unknown physical, mental, financial and spiritual weaknesses

An unknown call to service or intervention

 

Words of Wisdom:  In order to stay safe and keep your employment, a person may be required to role play, adapt to the culture climate and embrace the political ethics which may consist of legal and illegal activities, ethical and unethical games and other hidden practices.  For legal protection, I would follow the law, policy and procedure to the best of your ability, but beware of  unseen physical, mental and spiritual problems that can create a hostile environment.  Remember, a person may have to make tough decisions when you are being confronted with  dangerous activities. When you have done everything in your power to blend into the culture, but hostilities surround you, ask for divine intervention to help you figure out the cultural and political climate.

 

Tips to protect yourself

Be skeptical, do research, take your time and trust your instincts.

Try to be uplifting, positive and cheerful.

Find books or resources that are simple to understand that contain proper procedures, practical advice and common sense such as books for Dummies or other items that one prefers.

Create a crisis management plan to deal with issues before they occur.

Keep a journal to document your daily activities in order to prove your worth.

Do a financial analysis of your situation to see if your income and expenses add up.

Educate yourself in any subject matter that will involve you.

Always verify any information  that is received through verbal or written communication. Check for legitimacy and accuracy.

Get expert advice. Always ask questions.

Discover unwritten rules of the organization, if possible

Take all threats seriously. Stay alert for signs of trouble.

Watch for warning signs of professional abuse.

Avoid false accusations. Make sure you have enough evidence to back up your claim.

Stay calm and access your situation. Avoid becoming paranoid.

Report any incidents immediately.

Avoid unrealistic offers, high pressure tactics or investment opportunities.

Avoid work at home schemes, sales gimmick, supplemental Medicare insurance,
miracle cures and shady promises.

Do a background Investigation on any professional agency, company or service.

Keep in mind, even though business may operate legally does not mean that it is the best deal or ethical.

Keep all personal or financial matters confidential, if possible.

Read all agreements and contract before signing. Have a lawyer examine all major contracts.

Avoid signing a contract as a " mere formality" or that does not use simple plain English.

Never be discourage to find the truth about a subject matter.

Do not let anyone discourage your investigation or humiliate you.

Ask for help from your corporate leaders, human resources or professional service.

Watch out for professional physical, mental and spiritual targeting. 

Watch out for undercover operations, surveillance and entrapment conditions.

 

To Get help, learn how to network and recruit people.

 

Ask for help from the following resources:

Find a professional who understands all aspects of your physical, mental and spiritual situation. Be careful that you are not mislead or overpowered by physical, mental and spiritual undue influences. Do your own research.  Hire experts. Recruit people. Avoid frivolous law suits.

If you are harmed physically, emotionally and spiritually, get medical attention or other help.

Talk with someone who can help such as friends, mental health professionals, clergy or special law enforcement people. If necessary, look for counseling even if it happen a while ago.

Look for written information such as booklets.

Conclusion

There is very little one can do to preserve your jobs short from legal action which may drain your finances and possibly ruin your career. People may be unable to help due to inability, internal politics or policy, threats, financial instability,  fear of legal attacks, mental health abuse or physical, mental and spiritual terrorism that originates from a hostile environment. The bottom line is that you are on your own. Learning to maneuver in the company, community or government will require some form of training in politicking, cultural climate, knowing your job and legal rights. Always present what is right in the environment and then present new ideas. To resolve your situation, spiritual discernment may be required to resolve your situation.
